Why Lola Creative Praxis
At Lola Creative Praxis, the classical style remains the foundation of learning, while jazz and improvisation are introduced as an attractive layer, giving students the opportunity
to explore a distinctly different musical language without losing the strength of their
classical grounding.
Learning Programme
- Lessons begin at age 7 and follow a structured, progressive approach integrating musicality, theory, sight-reading, and aural skills.
- Lessons are 40 minutes for students aged 7, and 1 hour for students aged 8 and above, with a brief, structured pause built in to support focus and concentration.
- From age 8, students are gradually introduced to a hybrid classical-jazz and improvisation approach. The classical style remains the foundation, while jazz and improvisation broaden creative and musical range.
- The teacher provides core lesson materials. Parents are informed only where additional items are needed.
